To maximize versatility, the DSP board also accommodates five external digital inputs all effectively improved by the Quantum processor. The I/O interfaces are compatible with all PCM data from 16-24 bit and 32-192 kHz: other CD players, DAT, and DVD sources would be the most common examples accommodated. In addition, two PCM digital outputs are provided to allow use within broader home entertainment or professional systems.
