The DAC and analog output preamp are combined in their own compact and isolated module designed to maximize the exceptional low level linearity and natural dynamics of the signal. The DAC is the excellent Analog Devices AD1853 operating at its true 24bit/192kHz potential. The active gain devices throughout the audio circuit are also high-performance products selected from the Analog Devices family of audio-specific products. The analog signal is buffered into an exceptionally neutral microprocessor controlled dual mono active volume circuit adjusted in 0.5dB increments; the dual mono design permits balance control without adding extra components. The active output circuits offer both balanced and unbalanced connections. |
