The Integris CDP is very sturdily built from precision machined aluminum panels, many up to 3/8” thick, for mechanical integrity and avoidance of resonance. All surfaces are brushed and hard anodized. The lid mechanism for the CD transport access is entirely manual in operation, gliding on Teflon sliders for a long smooth life. The heavy solid aluminum lid keeps the assembly non-resonant and darkens the interior of the transport during CD play.
